What should I expect from my massage?
The ultimate goal of the massage is to relax and let your mind be at ease. Your practitioner will walk you through the process at the beginning of your appointment. Each session is individualized to best meet your needs.

​Can I have a birth doula if I am having my baby in the hospital?
Yes, you can absolutely have a birth doula if you're having your baby in the hospital. In fact, many people choose to have a doula specifically for hospital births.
A doula works alongside your medical team to provide continuous emotional, physical, and informational support throughout labor and delivery. While doctors and nurses focus on your clinical care, your doula focuses entirely on your comfort, preferences, and overall birth experience.
Just be sure to check with your hospital about their current visitor or support person policies, especially in case there are limits on how many people can be present during labor.

When should I hire a doula?
Anytime during pregnancy is fine, but earlier is better to secure availability allow time for relationship-building and prenatal support.

It varies by family. Some want just a few visits, while others prefer several weeks of daytime or overnight support.

What does a postpartum doula do?
A postpartum doula makes the transitional period of welcoming a new family member as smooth as possible. Your postpartum doula might help with meal prep, do light housework, hold your baby so you can sleep or shower, or offer you breastfeeding and emotional support. Beanstalk Birth & Wellness strives to bring traditional postpartum care back and offers modalities such as moxibustion, womb steaming, belly binding, and relaxation massage.

I am based out of Tuscarawas County, OH. I also see clients in my Canton, OH office. I travel throughout Tuscarawas County, Stark County, Coshocton County, Summit County, Cuyahoga County and more. I have served moms all over the state of Ohio and into Pennsylvania. My standard service area is 75 miles from New Philadelphia.
